July 26, 2012 SOUTHBRIDGE — The school district has seen a lot of staff fluidity in the last few years, with several people leaving.
But the most recent change was actually in what's generally seen as the right direction — someone getting promoted.
After two years as middle school principal, Amy Allen is taking over the district's number two slot as director of curriculum, assessment and instruction. To her, it's a chance to pursue her interest in "the nuts and bolts" of education, noting curriculum is "the backbone of a district."
